The long-term and efficient operation of the carbonization machine is based on a scientific and phased maintenance system. As the core equipment for biomass conversion, its maintenance needs to run through the entire cycle of installation, operation and dormancy.
The installation and commissioning period is the starting point of maintenance. After the equipment is in place, the horizontality needs to be calibrated. Uneven foundation will cause stress deformation of the reactor. Before the first ignition, an airtight pressure test must be carried out. 0.2MPa compressed air is introduced to maintain pressure for 30 minutes. The pressure drop is not more than 5% to be qualified. In this stage, high-temperature resistant grease is injected into the bearing seat to prevent early wear.
A triple protection mechanism needs to be established during daily operation. Daily inspection of the sealing system is the bottom line of safety-using soapy water to detect the flange interface, and the generation of bubbles means the risk of oxygen infiltration. Real-time monitoring of flue gas composition is more critical: when the CO concentration exceeds 800ppm, it indicates that the pyrolysis is insufficient and the airway needs to be cleaned. Tar removal after weekly shutdown must be carried out while hot. Cooling of the tar will reduce the heat exchange efficiency by 40%. Replenishing the transmission chain with molybdenum disulfide lubricant every month can reduce friction energy consumption by 25%.
Deep maintenance during seasonal downtime determines the life of the equipment. If the downtime exceeds 72 hours, the "three-stage protection method" should be implemented: first, empty the residual carbon in the reactor to prevent moisture absorption and corrosion, then replace the cavity air with nitrogen to block oxidation, and finally place a silica gel desiccant on the control cabinet and cover it with an anti-static cover. When it is stopped in winter, compressed air needs to be blown into the cooling water pipe to empty the water to avoid freezing and cracking accidents.
The failure rate of carbonization machines that adhere to full-cycle maintenance can be reduced by more than 70%. When the surface temperature of the equipment is evenly distributed, the smoke is transparent and white, and the bearing vibration value is less than 4.5mm/s, it indicates that this "carbon conversion engine" is in the best condition. Maintenance is not only a technical procedure, but also a magic ritual to release the potential of equipment.
