 1. Different raw materials and processing techniques

 Fruit charcoal is mainly made of fruit wood, such as apple wood, pear wood, chestnut branches, etc. The production of fruit charcoal is relatively cumbersome and requires multiple stages such as water evaporation, drying, pre-carbonization, carbonization, and calcination. It is produced through biomass carbonization and pyrolysis technology in an oxygen-isolated or anoxic environment.

 The raw materials of machine-made charcoal come from a wide range of sources, including rice husks, peanut shells, cotton husks, corn cobs, corn stalks, sorghum stalks and other wood scraps, as well as sawdust, shavings, bamboo chips, etc. The production of machine-made charcoal requires a set of equipment such as a crusher, dryer, rod making machine, and carbonization furnace. After the raw materials are dried and crushed, they enter the molding machine for high-temperature and high-pressure plasticization and molding into fuel rods, which are then carbonized in a carbonization furnace to make finished products. The overall process is relatively standardized and mechanized.

 2. Physical and chemical properties are different

 Fruit charcoal has a relatively small density and low calorific value, but it takes a long time to burn and has a high caloric value. Fruit charcoal ignites quickly, is smokeless, and produces a fragrance when burned. Due to its low density, it may be a little explosive when first ignited, but gradually decreases as it burns.

 Machine-made charcoal has high density and calorific value. The fixed carbon content is about 80%, and the calorific value can reach 7500-8000kcal/kg. Machine-made charcoal is flammable, smokeless, odorless and pollution-free. It burns without sparks and the residual ash falls naturally without floating up. Due to its high density, machine-made charcoal is relatively flame-resistant.

 3. Application and environmental performance are different
